I am working on an event that offers single person and family registration. Ticket pricing is offered at early registration price discount, regular pricing and at-the-door price. The event also offers ticket add-on items such as meal tickets. The meal tickets also have early registration pricing, regular and at-the-door.
I have spent a few hours searching through the forum to figure out how to add on a meal ticket. Is this something that needs to be created as a separate ticket? Or are there any functions or EE4 add-on that may allow for a ticket option add-on?
Currently there are two ways to offer something like an add-on meal ticket. One way is just do a separate ticket and set its price at the price of the meal only.
The other way is make a ticket that’s good for both the event access + the meal, and you price that ticket to equal the sum of the cost of entry and the meal. The up-side to this set up is you avoid the scenario where people buy meal tickets without buying access to the event.
Thanks for the reply Josh. However, we have one ticket for multi-day event then separate tickets for separate meals during the event. I suppose I could add a bundle ticket. I would be nice to be able to select which special meals to include as add-on options.
