I recently installed the latest update and now my event status displays “Sold Out”. How can I change the event status because the event is not sold out and have people registering daily.
The first thing to check is the datetime reg limits. You may need to raise those if they’re too low, then save the event.
One thing to keep in mind is if one ticket is good for two datetimes, where each datetime has its own unique reg limit, the ticket will sell out when the lowest datetime reg limit is hit.
I have one event with a limit of 250, however I have only sold 129. Everything was working just fine until the latest update is my best guess. I have double checked the datetime reg limits and they are not too low.
You can also break the two days (Saturday and Sunday) into two separate datetimes, then assign the tickets good for Sunday to the Sunday datetime. Then you un-assign the Sunday tickets from the Saturday datetime.
You can add a Sunday datetime by going to the event editor, and click Add Datetime. After you set the date, you click Create Datetime. This will open a box where you assign tickets. Here are a few screenshots that show more detail:
