Event Sign up Creating a user (In WP User or Members)

I cannot seem to get event espresso to create a user in the WP user when I do a test registration.

Is this a specific setting I am missing or does this system only allow registered users to sign up for events?

Hi Patrick,

Event Espresso does not create WordPress users by default. The normal way is for a user to register with the site, and then register for the events.

Seth, one of the developers, came up with a small function that will register users with the site on event registration (it works off of email addresses).

The function can be added to your themes functions.php file, a Functions plugin or the Custom Files addon.
