Event showing with past dates

Can you tell me what would cause this event to show? We are using the following shortcode:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”music-events” limit=”5″ title=”Music Events” order_by=”start_date,id” pagination=”true”]

Also, is there a way to suppress the second date if they are the same?

Hi there,

It’s because the two middle event date times are set to end in the year 2116.

There might be a way to suppress the second date if they’re the same, one way would would involve adding some PHP code and editing the code in the espresso_list_of_event_dates() function. It’s a pluggable function so it’s possible to copy it over to your WordPress theme and customize it. Or another approach would be to hide the extra date times using CSS.
