When I place short code in a page template the only thing that shows up is the ticket selector. It does not show venue, description, or dates and times. These things do show up if I was just using the event page and not short code. Is there a way I can change this?

That is what I get when I hit the “shortcode” button that is next to the permalink.

It turns out that the Ticket selector short code is designed to only display the Ticket Selector. There isn’t actually a short code that displays all event content. However, you can use a plugin like the Custom Content Shortcode plugin to display the event description on another page, e.g. [content id=2185].
