Hi there! (1) I’m working on this site currently: http://stage.nbcourts.com/ We are wondering if it would be possible to display the events (and select the ones you’re looking to buy) in a way similar to the layout featured on this page: http://showtimehoops.com/ I’ve noticed that it’s very similar to the Multiple Event Registration addon, and would like to do something like that here. (2) We would like to offer deals where a user can select several events and get a discount depending on how many events of a specific category they have in their cart at a given time (i.e. if they buy 3 of x, they get them for $450). Can you tell me how to do this? Any help you could offer would be great. Thanks in advance! |
Hi, There are a few differences between the registration checkout in Event Espresso 4 and that site. First, the selecting a ticket option and clicking on the register button starts a registration. This is how the core plugin works. You could set up something similar by using the Multiple Event Registration add-on and then creating different events with similar ticket options. Then when a registrant views your event listings page (e.g. example.com/events/), they’ll see available events and they will be able to select various ticket options across different events and then complete registration checkout once. Registration checkout is where their personal information along with payment is collected. — |

Hi Lorenzo, To my second question, is there a way to offer a discount for someone who selects multiple events? Thanks! |
Hello, bulk discounts based on selecting a certain amount of events is not currently available as a discount condition. — |

Thanks for your help, Lorenzo! I found the Volume Discount pre-release: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/volume-discount-add-on/ We’re just planning to use it on our stage server. I have purchased the Multiple Event Registration, but can’t see the pre-release in my downloads. Why is this? Can you grant me access to it? Thanks again! |
That add-on is for EE3 and is not compatible with EE4. We do not currently have a volume discount add-on available for EE4.
Your account has access to the EE4 Multi Event Registration Add-on currently. If you go to your account page you should be able to download MER from the blue links at the top – http://take.ms/9VxZx Does that link not appear on your account when logged in? |
