Event registration works in draft form, stops working when published

Up until yesterday the registration process for all our upcoming events worked fine. Today, when people register for an event (that they could access perfectly 48 hours ago) they are taken to an error message saying “oops that page can’t be found”.

To make sure this wasn’t a fault on our end, we just re-created another event and tested it before publishing and it worked fine. Great we thought … then we hit publish, and once again got the error message.

This is CLEARLY a fault with Event Espresso as people were registering for these events two days ago, but now can’t do so. If it was just one event then it could be human error, but this is affecting multiple events that haven’t been touched.

Your most speedy assistance and fix to this Event Espresso problem, as well as explanation for what has gone wrong, would be greatly appreciated.

May I ask what was changed on your website two days ago? i.e new plugins added, updates, changes to the web server?
