If attendees register, the registation time is -10hrs out of sync with my actual timezone, being Johannesburg (UTC+2).
I’ve double checked and my WordPress time setting is bizarrely +30min out of sync with actual Johannesburg time. I’m not sure what to make of this.
The 1st step would be to get EE registration times synced with my WordPress time. In the mean time i’m looking into why the WordPress time is 30min out of sync.

Try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.
It’s also possible you may have a server configuration issue. Who is your hosting company?
Whilst I dont know where Dreamhosts servers are held, they are based in California which is -9 hours on Johannesburg time so it is likely pulling the time from the server. You could check with the host to see what is set for th server timezone.
