Hi, just started using EE for the first time (v. 3.1.36.5.P), and we’ve run into a snag. For the very first event we’ve created, there are multiple pricing options (5K run, early bird 5K run, walk, children’s walk, free children’s walk). Upon install, EE created an “Event Registration” page (shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]), which has an accompanying navigation menu item. In viewing this page, it lists the sole event that we’ve created as follows:

PRICE: Free Event

Why is this happening, when for Event Pricing we have several pricing alternative (and the “Standard Pricing” is actually $25)? How do we fix this? Thanks.

Hi,

The event list only shows one price. This is something that we changed in EE4. In EE3, if you don’t mind adding in a function to your themes functions.php and a quick one line to a template file, then you can show either a list of prices or a range of prices.

Further to this, a colleague just advised me that we have added these as an option to EE 3.1.37 which is currently in the pre release (beta testing) channel.

So you could either test out that release or what until its formally released.

Thank you, Dean. I think that at this time, I’m probably better off with your first scenario, since it is for a soon-to-be-live site. But could you tell me, do you have any idea when EE 3.1.37 might be released as a stable or RC version? I’m new to EE, I don’t know the pace at which things move here. 🙂 Thanks.

Hello,

We don’t have a release date but products are released after being in the prerelease channel for some time. This helps out catch any issues that we may have missed with internal testing.
