I can’t get the registration form to show for some reason. The description can be toggled on/off, but the actual registration form will not. I have reinstalled twice to no avail. Suggestions?
Check the setting in the event editor that is labeled: “Display registration form?” make sure this is set to Yes.
Also, if you have recently updated from an older version of Event Espresso, check in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates for older templates from a previous version.
Did both of those per previous posts in this forum. I can get the description to show/not show, and can even add/create a post from the event and delete the post as well. But when I select “Yes” or “no” from ‘Display Registration Form’ it does not show up regardless of my selection choice…..it does keep the selection I choose whether it be ‘yes’ or ‘no’, it doesn’t show regardless of the selection.
Pages created by Event Espresso shouldn’t use the Event Espresso templates, those are for the custom post type feature. Set these to use standard theme templates.
OK – reverted those back to the theme’s default. Now I get the Event Registration page title , which is good — but still no registration form. Now the description doesn’t show up either whether it select to or not.
Ahhhhh – figured it out after much hacking and I got the registration form to show on a ‘showcase’ template page. I will have to create a generic page template to use for the EE Pages. I took the advise from your previous reply and ‘saw’ what was happening. I don’t have a ‘generic’ default WP template and I need to create one that will ‘read’ EE’s info for output. Thanks for your help and time!
