After upgrading to 3.1.29.P a couple bad things are happening
1) When you register for an event, after filling out the form you are directed to the normal confirmation page (example: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18218844/AGT%20Line%20Pass%20%20%20Registration%20Page%201.png )

When I hit confirm I get the same page but now with the name gone
(example https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18218844/AGT%20Line%20Pass%20Registration%20Page2.png )

This goes for an endless loop – each time adding an attendee a blank attendee to the event database.

In addition, and perhaps related I am getting this error:

“Event Espresso attendee data needs to be updated. Please visit the Support page to configure update the attendee information.”

However when I go to the support page that update script which i seen before is not showing up at all. The error will go away if I go back to the dashboard, but will show up again if I add a new attendee.

I backed up everything and did a re-install on the plug in. People are currently registering for events next week.

Hi there,

The errors you are seeing indicate that there are out of date template files (from a prior version of Event Espresso) in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ directory.

If you have modified templates in there, they need to be updated to use the new template files included with the current version of the plugin.

If you haven’t made any modifications to the files in the /uploads/espresso/templates they can be removed. If you are not sure if there were modifications made to these files, you can back these up or rename that folder just in case.

You can automatically rename the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates folder by going to Event Espresso>Template Settings and clicking the “Rename templates directory” button near the bottom of the page.
