The emails are being received by the address is the General Settings AS well as the wordpress admin email. We are the web designer and have admin access to the site as well as the client, but we obviously don’t want to receive their event registration emails! Help! |

Hi, You can change the email address set for “Primary Contact Email” in Event Espresso > General Settings. Also: Please note that it’s possible to set up Message Templates so the emails get sent to the Event Author. If you want to change that, you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates and change what’s set in the To: fields for the Event Admin Emails. |

To confirm. The Registration Confirmation email says: [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL] I need to change that to say what? |

You have a couple of options, the current shortcode parses to the email address of the account set as the Event Author You can either change it to Or, you can update the events to use the ‘correct’ author account and leave the current shortcode as is. If you are going to have multiple users (ie, yourself and the client) creating events I’d recommend switching to the above shortcode to prevent it from happening if someone accidentally sets the author to the wrong account. You will likely also want to go through the other ‘Event Admin’ contexts on the other message types and update the shortcode used there. |
