Event pricing looks weird

I am creating a new event that will start on January 16, 2014. I’ve set up two registration levels and an early registration discount:
Standard Pricing
Name 2: Solo Registration $590.00
Name 5: Individual with friend registration $440.00
Early Registration discount:
$390 until 12/31/13

When I activate the event and go to the registration page, in the drop-down box listed as “Choose an Option” I see the following:
Solo Registration ($200.00 Early Pricing)
Individual with friend Registration ($50.00 Early Pricing)

I understand that the early registration of $390.00 is $200 less than the post-early standard pricing for a “solo.” I also understand that the early registration of $390.00 is $50 less than the standard pricing for an “individual with friend registration” of $440.

I’m confused because no where on the registration form (other than my description) does it show the standard registration fees.

I would have expected it to show something like this:
Solo Registration $590
Individual with friend $440
Early registration $390 (Expires 12/31/13)

Is there a way to have this shown in a way that makes more sense at least to me?

Since posting this question, I’m tweaking the language for pricing. Currently I’m using “Individual Participant” and “Participant who has a friend registering, too”

Hi Jim,

Currently the early bird discount modifies the main price, so there isn’t an easy way to show what you are after. You could add the price into the description though.
