Created ticket and added price modifier field (IE 10% GST tax component)
During registration process the ticket price shown on page 1 of event details includes price modifier (IE Ticket price is $110 which $100 ticket plus 10% GST/tax component).

When the User selects to REGISTER for this event they are presented with the Event registration details page. Unfortunately the ticket price on this page is shown as $100.
My preference is to show price without price modifier until payment stage.

How can I achieve this?

I think this is what you want: https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/8736a20cbfacf5d5b97a. Adding that code to your site should make only the base price appear in the ticket selector. We recommend using a site-specific custom plugin to hold all custom code that you do not want to have overwritten by an update to a plugin or theme.

Hi thanks for the code but I have unsuccessful in implementing as a seperate plug in item (saved a new .php file and tried to upload as separate plug-in item).

When I try to load this as separate plug-in I get recieve the following error message: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Any ideas?

Hi,

Did you zip (archive) the php file first before uploading it? WordPress only accepts zipped files for upload.

Dean,

Zipping the file did not work. I received an error message stating no valid plugin found.

??

Not sure why you’re having trouble with the uploader, but you can get around it just by using ftp to get the file up onto the server. That way you can get back to the original thing you were trying to do.
