Hi,
I have not been able to get Event Espresso to work correctly. The event page is always full of text with html stripped out it seems or at least the new line character is stripped out.

It’s likely a theme conflict, EE injects the event details into your theme so it’s the theme that controls most almost all of the output.
If you preview another theme such as twentyseventeen does the content look correct there? You either preview the theme within the admin (Appreance -> Themes -> Twentyseventeen -> preview) or use a plugin such as Theme Test Drive to switch the theme only for admins.

I have tested using theme test and the plugin you advised and the result is still that all the newline characters are missing.

Ok, it’s usually a theme conflict but is possible to be a plugin conflict (especially if the theme installs its own plugins)
Can you send me a dropbox link I use to download the theme and install locally to test this?
