Are you using a plugin to add those social buttons?

The ‘conflict’ is likely from the other plugin using the incorrect function for the post’s title.

I’m guessing it’s using the_title()/get_the_title() rather than the_title_attribute() but to know for sure, I need to see the plugins code, which is why I asked above.

EE (correctly) adds this banner to the title – https://monosnap.com/file/IfPCE5hrntUeMAhd29YwmjTeVpiolQ

If another plugin uses the_title() function incorrectly, the banner will also be inserted into that plugins content, see – https://monosnap.com/file/LeIL3dwFJeItA4ZOCe4pZDOpxzN7LO

If you let me know which plugin you are using I can confirm this, but the fix will need to be in the other plugin.

OR, you can disable that feature within EE, which will also prevent it (although the other plugin should still be fixed), you can do that in:

Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Single event pages.

Set ‘Display Status Banner’ to No, that should also fix it, but only because EE no longer adds the status banner, so the other plugin slips by using the wrong function unnoticed.
