I have created the following event:
http://ohiobirds.org/events/warblers-wildflowers-weekend/
When I go to the http://ohiobirds.org/events/ page, it previously stated “no events”, and now it appears to have an old tag on it [events_list]. I do not know how to edit this page. Is there a default or index page for “Events” that can be modified? A way to show small previews of each event with links to their pages?

Hi Rogue Birder,
There may be a conflict with another event plugin happening there. You can avoid the conflict by setting a different Event slug in Event Espresso > Events > Templates.
For example if you change the event slug option to bookings there will be a list of events at
http://ohiobirds.org/bookings/
and single event URLs will look like:
http://ohiobirds.org/bookings/warblers-wildflowers-weekend/
