Hello:
I’ve created a WP user which is assigned the role of “espresso_event_manager”
In Event Espresso’s permissions page, I have assigned Event Manager to be able to access the “Event/Attendee Listings” page.
Also, on that page, EE lists the Event Manager, so I know that it sees that user.
However, when I login with that user, the Event Overview page shows no events.
This was working correctly, but I inadvertently deleted the user that had the “espresso_event_manager” role. It stopped working when I recreated the role.

Hi, could you try removing the existing role, deactivating the roles and permissions add-on, and then reactivating it to see if the role is created with the correct permissions?

When you state “remove the existing role”, does that mean deleting it using Users>User Role Editor> ?

Yes, the role is created by the add-on so my idea is to remove it. Then deactivate the add-on and reactivate it to see if it recreates it.

Not quite.
In Users>User Role Editor> the only EE roles that can be deleted are “Espresso Master Admin” and “Espresso Regional Manager”. “espresso_event_manager” is in the “role” list, but it doesn’t show up in the list when I choose “Delete Role”.
