I’ve created an event that will be virtual and not in a physical location. It seems I have no choice if I select to have a blog posted for the event…it includes a link for directions. That leads to a map with the error message “http://www.gomeetnow.com could not be displayed because it is not a valid KML or KMZ file.”

Is there something I can do to avoid that?

Also, having posted such a blog, I got a notice to moderate a “comment” that was a “pingback.” Is that a problem?

A pingback happens when someone links to your site.

You can likely hide the link for directions with some CSS. If you post a link to the blog post in question we can take a look and offer further suggestions.
