I cannot seem to display the event from my navigation. I think this is b/c the theme itself is using the /events/ url..
please see: http://chaicenter-org.securec79.ezhostingserver.com/events
Once this is figured out . do you have such displays with calendar format etc?
If need be I can provide WP login privately

ok I WAS ABLE to rename the default theme URL to http://chaicenter-org.securec79.ezhostingserver.com/eventschai/
so now I am able to view the events from event espresso..

so can it be viewed in calendar format like http://chaicenter-org.securec79.ezhostingserver.com/eventschai/ ?

Hi Moysh,

I see that you were able to find a solution. I’m sharing feedback for other members that may run into this issue.

If your theme or another plugin is using the /events/ slug, then it cannot be used by Event Espresso.

It can be changed through Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates. Then browse to your WP permalinks settings page to refresh your permalinks.

Here is how you can add a link to your event listing page to your website’s navigation:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-show-the-events-list-page-in-your-website-navigation/

We also have an events calendar add-on available here:

Lorenzo thank you for your response. Now i understand the license and add-ons.. better..
so my question is.. if i want to accept credit cards.. either through PayPal or authorize I cannot do that with a personal license.. i need a add-on.. if which one or is there an add-on for each gateway.. your add-on page seems to suggest you have one that covers all of them..

Hi Moyshm

You can view the payment methods included within EE4 core here:

https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/
(Click on the ‘EE4 Gateways’ tab)

PayPal standard is included within the core plugin and allows you to take payments using both PayPal accounts and Credit/Debit cards.

You can also use Authorize.net if you prefer, the payment method included within core is Auth.net AIM (which means users enter their payment details on your site). Note that with On-site payment methods such as AIM you need to be aware of PCI compliance.

Finally (for core) there is Mijireh, with Mijireh you can use any of the payment gateways they support with EE.

There’s also additional payment method add-ons you can purchase such as Stripe or BrainTree.

Which to use depends on your situation, the quickest and easiest to setup with is PayPal or Stripe.
