Hi Guys
I have just purchased Recurring Events Manager and running Event Espresso – 3.1.36.5.P. I have tried testing it out with some recurring events the only problem is the event list page is displaying events that aren’t open yet. I would like to only display only open events. Am I missing a setting somewhere? I tried [EVENT_LIST show_expired=false] but it didn’t achieve anything

Those sound like upcoming events.
The expired flag works for events that have already taken place.

Hello,
There isn’t a way to filter out events that have not opened yet.
You could possibly do it by editing or creating a new shortcode and changing how the SQL query goes, but you will need a strong understanding or PHP or a developer to do this.

Also does this functionality to filter events that have not opened to registration, exist in EE4? thanks

Hi,
We have a list of recommended developers here: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/
EE4 doesn’t allow it by default either, sorry about that.

No problems, thanks for the help. An “event=open” filter would be valuable to me.
I have managed to get around it using a limit filter with the espresso_events shortcode
