If I was looking to present events with an image at the top, event name, attributes and description (see event image) – would this be possible with EE3 and if so what plugin/work would need to be done?

Hi,

That is possible with Event Espresso 3. No add-ons would be needed for this specific display since the content already appears in the default event listing for Event Espresso 3.

You would just need to re-order some of the coding in one of the template files. For example, right now the image appears inline with the event information so that would need to be moved above the event description.
