Hi, Have an event went on sale today for 60 seats, 51 sold, and event shows full. Checked the ticket datetime and the end date is in the future. Also ran the reset ticket and datetime reserved counts from maintenance.
Event still shows full. What else should I be checking?
Investigating further I noticed 10 incomplete registrations for the ticket. The incomplete entries have a reg code issued, but no contact record. We have it set so you need to be logged in to register. The number tracks, but it’s not clear to me how the incomplete registration would occur w/o a contact record / user being logged in.
Registration records (and associated entities such as the EE_Transaction) are created as early as we can and then updated as the registrant steps through the process.
So to have incomplete registrations with no contact records, a user(s) selected tickets and then stopped at the attendee information step. However, they should still only apply to the sold counts for the duration of the user’s session (which by default is 1 hour) so when you ran this:

That should have cleared those from the reserve count as long as they were over 1 hour ‘old’ (it won’t remove the registrations themselves but removes them from the reservation system).
I have a couple of steps you can test here.
First, go to Event Espresso -> Events.
Hit the create new event button.
When the event editor loads it will have default tickets loaded, do those show anything other than 0 in the sold values?
(Close that event out when done, you don’t need to publish/save it)
Also, go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Default Settings.
Switch the option ‘Activate Advanced Editor?’ to Legacy Editor and save.
Edit the event you’re having this issue with.
Now using the legacy editor, look at your tickets on that event, does it show anything in the ‘Rsrvd’ columns?
(Switch back to the advanced editor when done with the above)
