Event Followup Emails

It it possible to email event attendees after the event with a thank you for attending email?
If so can this be automated?

Hi there,

We do not have the option to automatically send follow up emails to attendees.

There is a ‘batch’ message which can be used in EE meaning you can manually select attendees and trigger an email to send to them all.

However, emails can be finicky and when sending mass emails you can run into problems with them being flagged as spam or dropped from mail servers. You can try using a transactional email service to work around that (those services rely on their servers being trusted, meaning they will monitor your email usage).

Another alternative would be to use something like MailChimp and add your registrants to a list, then trigger a campaign from there.

On the registration list (Event Espressso -> Registrstions) or and event registration list (Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event name} -> registrations).

Click the checkbox next to the registration you want to select and at the bottom of the list click send batch message.
