I have the current install of wordpress and event espresso and I have gone through testing plugins and themes and the Event featured image will not work. I even have twenty twelve currently active to make sure there is no theme conflict.
Can you please help me get to the bottom of this.

Hi,
I assume you have been to the Template Settings, set “Display featured images in the event list and registration pages?” to Yes and saved?
If so, do you have a link where I can view the events that should have the featured image please?

Yes, that has been turned on. I currently have the ultimate coming soon plugin activated, so you wouldn’t be able to see the page.

So now add featured image is working but the media upload for the content is not. I can manually add the code, but the media upload will not insert it into the content.

Hi there,
The first issue about the featured image not working sounds like the WordPress options issue where the featured image default link type isn’t set to include a file URL. There was an option that made it possible to change this, but it was removed in WP core a few versions back.
There’s a way to fix this by going into the database and changing the “image_default_link_type” in the wp_options table to: file
Alternatively, you can click the File URL button just below the Link URL field.
With the media uploader, does this also happen when you’re uploading images on a regular post or page?

The Media uploader works fine on posts and pages, it only doesn’t work on events.

Can you check for any JavaScript errors on the event editor page? It may help to rule out a plugin or theme conflict by temporarily switching to the default theme and temporarily deactivating non-EE plugins. This will help narrow down what’s causing the issue.

So I have deactivated all plugins and I currently have everything up to date. When I try to upload an image to the event content via the media uploader, this is the error that is shows.

Hi there,
This looks like a conflict with the Bizz WordPress theme. I followed the link from your site’s footer and downloaded the same theme that’s installled on your site, and found the same thing when I ran it on my test site.
From looking at the theme code, it looks like it’s adding its own Media uploader js, which may be conflicting with the default WordPress media uploader that ee uses. You can try uploading images with another active theme, without switching the theme on the front-end of the site by using the theme test drive plugin.
