We migrated Event Esspresso from one host to another (to WPENGINE). We have followed all instructions in terms of Tunring off the heartbeat API, Removing specific directories from caching, and resetting our support/license in both the admin portal and through requesting a reset.

Since there is not support function without an additional purchase, we are trying to track down the issue and having no luck. As a developer, I’m not getting errors, so am not even sure how to begin testing to see what the issue is. I don’t suppose anyone else has experience with this vague issue -Event Esspresso is not working at all on our site and simply hangs when a request is made.

The site is http://kidcreatestudio.com

Hi there,

Did you migrate the entire site from the other host, or was it a partial migration where you only migrated some of the tables?

Was a recommended migration tool like WP Migrate DB used to migrate the data?

It appears that the URLs aren’t correct on the site. For example, this page here:

http://kidcreates.wpengine.com/woodbury-art-studio/woodbury-fall-session/

1) Does not use https
2) doesn’t match the WP admin URL (http://kidcreatestudio.com//wp-admin)
3) The View Details links are trying to use https

So it appears that you have something set up to redirect to https, but your site isn’t correctly set up to use https.

there is not support function without an additional purchase

The support forums are a actually a support function that don’t require additional purchase.

Excellent, thank you for catching that, we were not seeing the push to the wpengine install name. Now, the only issue we have left is that when we add something to cart, we get the “it looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty. Please go to the events page and try again.

We’re currently reviewing support forums for another example of this issue to avoid conflating support topics. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

You’ll need to send WPEngine support a complete list of URL’s that include any Event Espresso shortcodes that add things to a cart. For example, this page:

http://kidcreatestudio.com/woodbury-art-studio/woodbury-fall-session/

Is currently being served from a cache:
