Event Espresso, WooCommerce and Authorize.net

I have both Event Espresso and WooCommerce installed in my wordpress system to both take events and sell products via my web site. However, when I turn on the Authorize.net gateway within woocommerce, the transactions within EE fail. I get no error or confirmation message when it attempts to submit the payment information. Instead, when the payment information is submitted, the page reloads as though I hadn’t submitted the payment. When I turn off the WooCommerce the EE payment module works just fine. I have upgraded EE to version 3.1.29.1, but still no luck.

Hi there,

We have an open ticket to go through and prefix all the payment gateway classes to help prevent clashes with other plugins that are using the same classes for the same payment gateways. We’re working to get them out before the next major point release (.30), but you can use what we have done so far since Authnet is done.

and upload them to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateway. You may need to deactivate and reactivate the Event Espresso Aim gateway in Event Espresso>payment settings so the modified files will load up.

Thanks for the assistance Josh. I uploaded the files to the directory you stated, as well as the …/espresso/gateway/aim directory and I’m still having the same problem where it reloads the payment page as though it didn’t process the transaction without any notification of success or failure of the payment. Any other ideas?

For clarification’s sake, I posted the new files in both the wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateway and the wp-content/plugins/event_espresso/gateways directories. It still has the same problem.

would it have the same conflict if we had an AIM SIPS account instead of the AIM account?

sorry that’s supposed to be the SIM not SIPS account. What is the difference between the AIM and SIM?

Hi there,

Yes, it does make a difference between SIM and AIM. The files I uploaded and linked to are for AIM. I’ll put together something for SIM and post a download link.

Hi again,

**Download links removed**. You can unzip and upload to the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways directory. When its uploaded there, the path will be:
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/authnet/
