Event Espresso upgrade from 3 to 4

Hi, I am just trying to test out converting ee3 to 4 and it seems that the information in the backend looks to be correct, but when I go to the front end we are using the single event booking shortcode to add the booking to an event page we created. The css is a little off but that can be fixed as you can see here – https://i.snipboard.io/aT9oPL.jpg and https://i.snipboard.io/aTH8LJ.jpg when the original looked like this – https://i.snipboard.io/c3nuXI.jpg

Now if I click “Register Now” at the bottom it sends me to the event registration page, but I get this error whenever I go to this page https://i.snipboard.io/EMd9BK.jpg “Nothing in your Event Queue”

I don’t really know how to fix this issue.

Hi Patrick,

Can you send me a link to your site so I can take a look, please?

‘Nothing in your event queue’ is almost exclusively caused by caching, do you have any caching plugins enabled?

It did appear to be a caching issue.

But now I just get a personal information page with no fields on it – https://i.snipboard.io/dKYVUQ.jpg

Unless I need to redo them after upgrading from 3 to 4?

Hi there,

Apologies for the delayed reply.

So the Personal Information being empty is strange, you should always have at least First Name and Email in that group (Also last name but its possible to deselect it).

Can you add screenshot of the Person Info group?

On this section: https://i.snipboard.io/0srhnZ.jpg

Go to the ‘Question Groups’ tab at the top.

Click to edit the Personal Info group.

What does it show there?

Hmmm, ok, so you have 2 personal info groups which would lead me to believe that EE3 has been set up in an unexpected way and it’s thrown off the migrations.

In the above screenshot, is that the Personal Info group with the lock next to it or the other one?

It might be easier if I can take quick look over those questions in the admin (note I wont be making an changes here, its just quicker than requesting screenshots of each section).

Ok, sent the login form. The screenshot I took is of the locked personal information group.
