Hi. |
|
Hello Bjørn, WE are having these issues currently as we have/are making changes to the licence system. I have reset your licence key. Please go to Event Espresso > General Settings. Remove the licence key, save, reenter the licence key and save. That should resolve the issue, but please advise if the automatic updates does not work still. Thanks. |

Hi Dean. |

Ok thanks, I will need to refer this onto a developer to look into. |
Bjørn, We can investigate this further if you can send us admin credentials for this site. If you can, please send them via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/ When you’re filling out the form, please select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form. |

Currently multisite is the one instance where the automatic updater is not currently configured to work correctly. In theory it should work, at least on the primary domain, if the license key is properly configured for that domain, but the fact that updates need to happen from the network admin panel throws a wrench into the system. We’re working on making the entire system multisite capable but for now (and until officially stated otherwise), the automatic updates don’t work & you just need to download the plugin from your account page and update manually.

I am having the same issue. I keep getting messages to update and input my API key. When I click on the general settings link in the plugin bar inside the network admin I am taken to: http://gnflea.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=event_espresso&license_key=true#license_key Which says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” Thanks. Hi Dennis, May we log into the site so we can investigate further? If so, please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/ Please select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form. |

See my comment above. The automatic upgrade does not work with WordPress multisite. |

How about the license key? How do I activate it for support? |
The license key is only necessary for automatic updates. Your access to the forums, your user account and information on your profile is what is used by support staff to determine your level of support. |
