Hi,

Our EE4 plugin switched from dutch back to English after the last update. What happened? Our language is set correctly. What can I do to change this back?

..I am hoping for another reaction that how to translate the plugin becauuse it was set correctly before the update to the latest version 😉

Kind regards,

Tony

Hi there,

Can you post the steps taken to translate EE previously?

Hi Tony,

actually not.. It was just in Dutch (specifically the admin) and now it’s not.

I did forget to mention that: it is the admin I am concerned about not the front end.

Thanks,
Koen

You could download the latest translation file from here:

https://translate.eventespresso.com/projects/event-espresso-4/nl/event-espresso-nl_NL/export-translations?format=mo

Make sure the filename is event_espresso-nl_NL.mo and place that within:

/wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages/

Do the translations show then?

Right! That last part did the trick: I forgot to change the file name from …nl.mo to nl_NL.mo. Apologies for the inconvenience.. should have seen this myself.
