Event Espresso Plugin data from previous versions

I would like to confirm that once EE4 is updated and there are various versions listed with the plugin screen of WP, the older version and its data can safely be deleted.

For example, moving from 4.2.8 to 4.2.9 leaves the 4.2.8 folder in place. After confirming 4.2.9 is functional, is it safe to delete the 4.2.8 folder?

Hi there,

It turns out that all the event data is stored within the mySQL database, the various copies of older versions of the Event Espresso plugin only contain the code that runs Event Espresso, not the data. It is safe to delete the old version folders.
