Event Espresso plug in made my events page non-existent

When I uploaded the event espresso plug in it got rid of our “events” page on the website
https://spcasc.org/events/

I have since restored from backup but I am now afraid to try uploading again. I checked the known plug in bugs and couldn’t find one that matched this issue….

Hi Brenna,

What you can do is after you activate Event Espresso 4, you go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and change what’s set for “Event Slug” to something other than events. For example you could change the setting to be upcoming-events.

Also, for the sake of clarity, your events page still existed, it just wasn’t accessible because there was another URL on the site with an exact match.
