After configuring Event Espresso 4 on a new website I’ve had 2 peculiar things occur which I’m unsure how to rectify. Firstly, when a user registers on the site they receive a confirmation email and the admin also receives an email informing of the new registration. However, in the email the user receives it states “connect with this event” with an email listed below which is not the email which is set within WordPress to receive notifications etc and the email which is stated there also receives a notification – despite the email address in WordPress general settings being a completely different email address…
I’ve also noticed on the day/time it states (Africa/Abidijan), considering it’s set to be a United Kingdom event in the Event Espresso settings I’m not sure where it’s getting this…?
Any help would in resolving these would be very much appreciated.
1) That’s likely the company email address (setup in the Event Espresso general settings) that is displaying in the registration confirmation message: http://www.screencast.com/t/y1mzXp72GN
You can either change/remove that in the message templates within the WP admin Event Espresso > Messages > Registration Approved message template, or you can update the settings in WP admin > Event Espresso > General Settings.
2) You will need to update your WordPress timezone settings, by going to WP admin > General Settings > Timezone.
