Hello,

I’m installing Event Espresson on my site, but it’s not showing up in the Admin menu. In addition, when I click Events under Event Espresso on the Plugins page, I get the error: “You do not have access to this route.”

I think I’ve the same issue that’s discussed in this forum on your site: https://eventespresso.com/topic/support-key-not-working-event-espresso-not-showing-in-left-navmenu/

Could you please help me resolve the issue?

Hi there,

Are you logging into the site and an Administrator?

Is this a single site or part of a WordPress Multisite network?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance, does that page load?

Thanks for your response.

I am logged in as an admin. It’s a single site and hosted on a dedicated server. I cannot go to Event Espresso > Maintenance as I cannot view even espresso in the left-hand menu.

Try using:

yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings

What do you see?

Hi,

I see settings to enable/disable maintenance mode. Currently it’s disabled.

It looks like an issue with capabilities.

At the top of the page you should see another tab that has ‘Reset/Delete Data’.

Within there you should find an option to ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’, click that. It will make sure the admin account on your site has all of the needed capabilities for EE.
