Hello,
I have been using EE 3 Lite for a few years without any problems, the last one was half a year ago.
Today I wanted to update events and there are problems with the date and time. Every time I change the date and / or time of an event and click on “Update event”, the times change automatically. The date is also not displayed correctly but always appears on the homepage one day earlier as set in the EE.
Is this related to a WP or EE update in the past few months?

I use WP 5.3.2 and Event Espresso lite 3.1.37.12.L

Thank you for some helpful advice

Hi,

That’s related to the changes in WordPress 5.3. What you could do is migrate to Event Espresso 4 decaf which is the replacement for Event Espresso 3 lite. Event Espresso 4 decaf is available to download from wordpress.org or install from your site’s Plugins > Add New page.

Before you activate Event Espresso 4 decaf you’ll need to deactivate Event Espresso 3 lite. Then after you activate Event Espresso 4 decaf it will show a prompt to optionally migrate the data from EE3 to EE4. You can choose that option if you want your events and registrations data to migrate to Event Espresso 4 decaf.

Hi Josh,

I just read your message too late. I updated EE3 and now it works. I will test EE4 decaf later, thanks for the help!
