There was a file named .server-conf.php, which is not supposed to be there, and that was what caused the breakage.
I removed the file and Event Espresso activates without issue now. It may be a good idea to ask your host to check the server’s access logs to figure out how that file got added there, because that wasn’t a server configuration file and it did not belong there. |
