Hi,

I installed the plug-in and now my ENTIRE WordPress site is down. I need help ASAP as we are trying to sell tickets for our Foundation events that went out TODAY. I can’t log on via an FTP server.

This is the message I receive. I can’t even log on. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare espresso_version() (previously declared in /home/boone13/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-decaf/espresso.php:50) in /home/boone13/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-free/espresso.php on line 37

Hi Rachel,

It looks like you have activated multiple versions of Event Espresso on your site.

You can install multiple versions of EE, but you can only have one version activated at any one time.

You currently have /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-free/ which is EE3 Lite and also /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-decaf/ which is EE4 Decaf.

You’ll need to log in using FTP and rename one of those directories so that one of those is de-activated.

For example rename /event-espresso-decaf/ to /event-espresso-decaf-temp/

Then load your WP admin.

The Fatal error on your site will not prevent you logging in via FTP, so if you can’t log in you’ll need to contact your host to find out why.
