Hi guys,
I’m trying to install EE 4.0 for a preview and play with to get some understanding before its launched. When is it going to be launched? This year?
The error I’m getting is below, I’ve deactivated all 3.X plugins, have they actually got to removed altogether to intstal 4.0. –

Hi,
We recommend using a fresh database for Event Espresso 4, it currently does not work with the 3.1.X database (it is an early Beta still).

Thanks Josh,
I appreciate that, but after emailing all license holders with a big plug about 4.0, I’ve got various clients that are trying to plan future development, and a date would be really useful. Contrary to this, we will all just sit tight, and look forward to 4.0.

I agree a date could be useful, but it would need to be a date that could be delivered on in order to be of use, not a date based on a guess. If I were to tell you right now how long I think it will take, I would be giving you a guess.
