Having an issue where one event, The Wizard of Oz, is “eating” the event next to it in the display table. The eaten event can be directly accessed using its URL, but won’t show in the archive event listing. The Oz listing is also displaying very strangely when you open its event page.

I’ve cleared the site hosting and browser cache. No new plugin or theme changes in months, but the plugins do automatically update.

Can you give more details on the problem. Can you record what is happening using loom.com or any tool you have.

When you said plugin update.? Are you referring to EE? Do you want to roll back to see if plugin existed there? Do you have 5.0.17?

Thanks

All the plugins on the site update automatically through our web host. So EE and everything else (elementor, gravity forms, google site kit) all update within 24 hours of a release.

How do I roll EE back? Just install the older version on top the current?

Just download the 5.0.17.P zip and then go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> upload plugin.

Select the .zip file you just downloaded and upload.

WordPress should ask if you want top replace the current version with the one you just downloaded, do so.

You can use this link to download it.

thanks

I can’t find where to download the EE Core 5.0.17 file. The download section of my account just lists 5.0.18.

installed EE core 5.0.17 and it fixed it. Something in 5.0.18 is causing the issue. Basically, the 5th active event (wizard of oz) “ate” the 6th event (8th Grade EOY Trip) and showed a duplicate of itself. Also was not displaying correctly on the individual page for the event, but only that one. Registrations still worked. All events were accessible via direct URL’s and via the Event’s Calendar link.

But its fixed temporarily. I have turned off auto-updates from the web host till a patch is made.

Hello,

5.0.19 is now available. Can you update your plugin to that version and let us know if you still experience problem.

thanks
