Ticket price is $2,400 per person for the 2.5 day event. For discounts, client would like to apply dollar discounts instead of percentage discounts. So: Early = save $275 I believe the above discounts can be handled via the Promotions add on with no problem. Here’s where it gets tricky. The client would like to incentivize companies to send multiple people, and offer a large discount to companies who commit to sending 3 or more people. With 3 or more tickets purchased at once, the company saves $400 per ticket for a total of $1,000 for each attendee. The tickets must be bought at the same time. Do you know if there is a way to accomplish this? |

Hi there, It sounds like you would be better using ‘ticket bundles’ for this. We have some documentation on those here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-ticket-bundle/ They are a method that allows you to create ‘groups’ of tickets and set the price at a discounted rate as the user is ‘forced’ to select them as a bundle rather than individual. Where this is a little tricky is the ‘or more’ because ticket bundles would usually have a min/max qty set that match, lets say 4… so a user can select 0 or 4 of that ticket for the discounted price. What you could have for each ticket type is an additional ticket type for ‘group’ bookings and set the Min qty of that ticket to be 3. So for example: Early = $2,125 You set the min qty that can be selected for the group ticket to be 3 and leave the max blank to allow for more (if needed?). Here is a quick example: https://monosnap.com/file/7jkRT7TZTJTeICvpMt4lGxwQq6suAy The group ticket has the min qty set to 3: So then on the front end it shows 3+ tickets in the dropdown: You could set the early bird ticket to have a max qty of 2 to force group tickets to use the lower priced ticket type. Would that work for you? |

Thank you for the detailed explanation of options. If we use ticket bundles, are we still able to collect individual attendee information for each ticket within the bundle? |

Sure, a ticket bundle is basically just a way to force a specific number of tickets to be selected. So selecting 4 tickets from a ‘normal’ ticket or a ticket bundle of 4 is exactly the same. 4 Registrations and if you have questions set on Additional Registrants for the event those will be collected for each registration. |
