Hi. I am having an issue when trying to edit the event description in the event edit pane. When I click between the visual and HTML view, I lose the content box and then I am able to click back to the other view. I can’t type anything. Any idea why this may be? I am currently using ThemeForest theme Avada. Thanks.
Are there any JavaScript errors on that page? Most browsers will have a develop console that will let you view any errors. If you let me know which browser and OS you’re using, I can point you to how to check for JS errors.
I’m having the same issue. No other plugins installed to modify the visual editor. This only occured after updating to WordPress 3.5. Using Firefox and IE. let me know how to check for errors. This is urgent.
Update on my issue:
Using firebug in Firefox(latest version) I got the following JS error with all plugins turned off except event espresso..I even uninstalled any plugins that modify the text options. (gibberish to me)
TypeError: this.getDoc(…) is undefined
[Break On This Error]
@Stuart Chaplin Is the theme loading up extra items/buttons in the editor? If so, you might want to contact the theme developer about this issue.
