How can I fix the registration window without removing my template.

http://panfest.ca/event-registration/?ee=6

No matter where I look at editing it to remove all the spacing, I just can’t seem to find it. Either that or I’m just to tired these days. Also I’m not a professional developer, just the most qualified person in our program.

Hi Cory,

Do you mean the fact that each sentence is on its own line? The page you linked to can only be seen when logged in, but even that message has an issue, it is all being wrapped in code tags

<code></code>

This is not normal Event Espresso behaviour.

If this is not the issue please clarify what the spacing problem is.

Hmm it appears that I only have the issue with the template that my organization wanted to use.

We are using the Flexform template, with Classic and Swift Page builder features.

Is there anything that would be needed to help fix this issue with everything having its own lines?

Or is there a way to just add the form via shortcode to a post?
I’ve tried adding the [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=X] shortcode, and it gives me;

This event has expired or is no longer available.

Hi Cory,

What this looks like to me is the flexform WordPress theme is taking the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode and adding extra markup in the form of code tags.

This is kind of a long shot, but it may help to try wrapping the shortcode on the /event-registration page with the [raw] short tag.

It will look like this in the page editor in the “Text” view:
[raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]

If this doesn’t help, then you can contact the theme author and ask them if they are altering the WordPress the_content() or wpautop by means of filters. If they are, they should be able to let you know how to disable that.

Perfect that worked.

Thanks.
