Hi, is there any form to avoid the indexation of this page from Search engines without deleting it?
Thanks

Hi Jose,

Do you mean the single event pages (/event/my-event/) or the events list (/events/)?

EE doesn’t include functionality to stop the pages from being indexed but its possible to do using:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

within the page output.

There’s a few different ways to do that, some of them shown here:

https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/how-to-stop-search-engines-from-indexing-specific-posts-and-pages-in-wordpress

It depends on the exact output you are referring to.

Hi, Thnks for the response
I’m refering exactly to (/events/). I don’t have an “event” page in my lists of wordpress pages. I created a new one “eventos” which I set to PRIVATE, but “events” are still apearing and there is no setting to switch off that page. Please advice.
Thanks!
