We display multiple events on our site, but the events themselves are all over the world. Each event has its own host or coordinator (someone who is in charge of arranging hotels, gathering transportation information, etc. We’d like to post the contact person for each event within the event. I didn’t know if there was already something for this, or if I should just plan to nest it in the event text.
There is a Roles and Permissions add-on that lets you assign an event manager, but it sounds like you have a different use case than the one that it was designed for, and would probably create more complications than it would solve. You are probably best off just having some boilerplate saved that you can paste into the event description.
