I’m having issues with not receiving a confirmation email once I register, everything else seems to be working fine. The page is live, everything worked during our last event (August 2014) so I’m not sure what changed.
I saw a thread speaking of issues with Gmail, but other addresses do not receive either. Any help would be great, I’m a novice at this.

Hi Susan,
Is it the Attendee email, the admin email, or both that are not sending?
Can you install the check email plugin on the site please.
Once you have installed and activated that plugin, go to Tools -> Check email.
Input your email address and press send. Do you receive a test email to that email address?
*What we are doing here is checking if WordPress can actually send emails from your server

I’ve installed the plugin, sent but did not receive an email. IT seems both Admin and Attendee email do not send. Seems to be a WordPress issue, where does that lead me?

Hi Susan,
You could try a transactional email service like Mandrill or Postmark APP:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/
They will take over sending from the native wp_mail function in WordPress.
Mandrill has a generous free tier up to 12,000 emails per month so I would give that a try.

Just some extra info.
This is actually included within the link @lorenzo provided but I think it gets a little lost.
Here is a guide on how to setup wpMandril and link it with your Mandrill account (once you create one):
