Hi guys,

Hope one of you might be able to help me out with two issues with confirmation emails that we quite urgently need to resolve:

We only want the primary attendee to receive confirmations, not the additional attendees. eg. if someone is booking a surprise party we only want the person that booked it to get confirmation, not the others they are bringing. We still want to have their email addresses on file though.
There have been scenarios where the primary attendee has received the confirmation email several times over rather than just once for no apparent reason. Is anyone aware of any issues around this? Perhaps it is a bug?

This is with WordPress 3.9.1 and EventEspresso 3.1.36.1.P

Hi Tim,

At this moment there is no option to disable those emails.

Regarding the multiple emails, we have seen similar issues in the past. Generally it is either that the core EE pages are not properly accessible (e.g. password protected or drafted), or their is an issue with the server itself.

We simply use the default WordPress mail functions, so there is no issue with those. Some users have in the past had success with a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP or a services such as Mandrill or Postmarkapp.
