I doubt this is an option, but is there a way to list all non-expired events in the event list table template (all inactive events would say coming soon and all active events allow you to click the register button)?

Hi there,

It is possible, but you’ll need to use your own custom version of the table view template (which I assume is what you mean by event list table – THIS).

When you say ‘all inactive events’ can I ask what is an inactive event? An event with no tickets currently on sale but with at least one upcoming ticket?

Often, we build an event in the background and save it to draft or schedule it to publish at a later date. Is there a way to show drafts or even scheduled / published events in the table list with possibly a coming soon on it?

Setting EE to display draft events is going to be tricky and means that events may start showing up before you expect them to.

However, if you set the event up with tickets that all have the ‘Sale Starts’ dates in the future you can check for that condition within the template and display a different link/text that you do for ‘active’ events.

Would that work?

Any updates or thoughts on what I am hoping to do?

Just to note, ‘bumping’ your threads will usually have the opposite effect than intended as we view threads based on reply date.
