Event Calendar Widget not displaying

Event Espresso has been installed for several years and the Calendar Widget has always worked without issue. It recently stopped working everywhere I’ve checked:

Sample page:
http://www.elpasocountybar.org/
Sample Post:
http://www.elpasocountybar.org/pikes-peak-pro-bono-project-inc-pppbp-inc-is-hiring-a-pro-bono-coordinator/
You can see the Widget Title “Calendar of Events” but no calendar below it.

The Calendar shortcode works fine on our main Calendar page:
http://www.elpasocountybar.org/public-event-calendar/

I tried displaying the Calendar Widget in a different Widget Area; again only the Widget Title displayed. While I don’t use it, I tried the Upcoming Events Widget as a test; it worked.

I’ve not installed any new themes or plugins in many month. I recently updated WordPress to 4.5 and Event Espresso to 3.1.37.8.P. The Event Calendar plugin is Version 2.2.7.p which I assume is the latest.

I read numerous forum posts on this but found nothing I could apply or try.

Thanks for your help.

Hi William,

I took a look and it looks like your site has the Avada theme installed and the site has been updated to WordPress 4.5. Can you check with ThemeFusion support to see if they have an update for the Avada theme that’s compatible with WordPress 4.5?

This is the error that’s on your site’s webpages:

Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href=#]

Alternatively, your copy of Avada can be patched by opening its main.js file and change the line that has this:

jQuery('.fusion-navbar-nav a:not([href=#], .fusion-megamenu-widgets-container a, .search-link), .top-menu .menu a:not([href=#]), .mobile-nav-item a:not([href=#], .search-link), a.fusion-button:not([href=#]), a.fusion-one-page-text-link:not([href=#])').click(function() {

to be this:

jQuery('.fusion-navbar-nav a:not([href="#"], .fusion-megamenu-widgets-container a, .search-link), .top-menu .menu a:not([href="#"]), .mobile-nav-item a:not([href="#"], .search-link), a.fusion-button:not([href="#"]), a.fusion-one-page-text-link:not([href="#"])').click(function() {
