I’m having an issue whereby the calendar shortcode is causing the page to lose the formatting. If I disable the plugin the formatting jumps back to where it should be. It’s essentially causing these two DIVs to be stripped out. <div class=”pl-area-wrap pl-bg-cover” style=””> The pl-content gives the section area margin and pretty much positions your content in the centre of your site, similar to how your header and footer are positioned – without these the page is running into the margin. It’s only happening with the calendar shortcode from what I can see, the rest of the events system is running perfectly. This is my last hurdle to get this site live – I appreciate the responsive support from EE so far. Thanks |

Hi Nicholas, It should not be stripping out any HTML at all. Is there any chance of a link to the page in question? It would help us to pinpoint what the actual issue is. My guess is it’s either a javascript conflict or more likely a CSS conflict. |

Hi Dean It’s here: http://citywomen.org.gridhosted.co.uk/events/ I did strip out my custom CSS (it’s really just styling of classes nothing too extreme) and the issue was the same. I did disable all plugins etc. If I rebuild the page it is fine, then view it on another browser and the reflow happens. Hope you can track something down, happy to send login details. |

Hi, Thanks for that. Are you minifying the CSS? I see a compiled-css-lots of numbers.css file. I have had it before where minified CSS on a WordPress site can just make things explode for seemingly no good reason. I would try and stop the minification and see if that resolves the issue. |

Hi So I have been trying to find the issue because it didn’t exist before with various events posted on the calendar when I was testing the functionality. Now I’ve found that it’s an expired event appearing on the calendar which is causing the problem. If change the date on an event to closed the page doesn’t build correctly (it’s stripping out some DIVs), then if I adjust to a future date, save and refresh, the page goes back to normal. Any idea how to fix this? |
Should fix things if the add to cart links are removed from the expired events. |

Yes I’ve now discovered that now when I saw two events sitting in October thinking my theory was incorrect. But both of those didn’t have the cart code added. Hopefully this will go away with the forthcoming version. I’ve got the beta, I’ll take a look. |
