We have noticed recently that all Events from 2021 have been trashed. Does Event Espresso delete Events after a certain amount of time? Or is there a setting that I might need to turn off to prevent this from happening in the future?

No, Event Espresso does not auto delete anything.

Just to note, EE events are a custom post type within WordPress so if yo have any plugins designed to purge old ‘posts’ they may also be deleting EE events depending on how they are querying for the posts.
As Garth mentioned, Event Espresso does not purge old posts automatically, we don’t have any code to do that within the codebase. If you do happen to find something that looks like it’s from Event Espresso please so let me know and I will investigate further to confirm.

Thanks Tony. I appreciate the added info. I don’t see any plugins that would be purging posts. I will keep my eyes peeled for something that looks like it was from Event Espresso.
